Small discoveries are worth keeping.
My journalA discovery from today
I saw tiny hairs on the back of a leaf. The front felt smooth, and the back felt different.
A thought from my companion
You kept more than the fact that you saw a leaf: you noticed how the two sides felt. A small difference can be worth remembering.
The first entry starts with a sentence.
A parent sets things up. Your child finds their own pace.
Make a little space for your family
Complete the account, family and child setup. Follow the in-app binding instructions when using a child's own device.
Keep one real moment
Open the child's journal and speak or write. Try an optional opening prompt, or start with an idea of your own.
Finish, then think it through
Save the child's words and read the companion's specific reply. Parents see content within the child's sharing choice.
A few things before you begin.
Starting a journal, choosing what to share and inviting family.
More questions? Contact usWhat if my child has nothing to write?
Start with one moment, sentence or discovery the child wants to keep. An optional opening prompt can be skipped or replaced. During focused writing, children speak or write for themselves and ask for help when needed. Specific feedback comes after they finish.
Can parents see every journal and portrait?
Journal content and feedback follow the child's sharing choice. Unshared content does not become visible through portraits, chat history or parent summaries. Parent and child portraits use their respective source permissions. Parent records shared with children follow their own sharing settings too.
Can other family members take part?
Parents can invite family members through an invitation link. Each member reads and contributes according to their role and permissions. Family membership does not make an unshared child journal public. Existing invitation links and in-app joining continue to work.
